WEEK # 1 - Eat healthier and tastier to achieve your goals
- Understand energy balance – how much can one eat to lose or maintain their weight?
- Understand the concept of nutritional dense vs. energy dense. No more diets that don’t work.
- Learn portion control – you are the boss, the food is not!
- Learn how to swap an unhealthy food item for a healthier version without sacrificing taste.
WEEK # 2 - What is in that label?
- Understand a nutritional label allowing for wiser eating decisions.
- Learn the difference between carbohydrates, fat and protein to achieve optimal balance to a healthier diet.
- Learn how to manage dinner at restaurants or parties allowing for indulgence without guilt.
- Sample meal ideas to help the process for success until you master it on your own.
WEEK # 3 - What is energy balance?
- Increase your body metabolism to help weight loss, increase your good cholesterol (HDL) and decrease your bad cholesterol (LDL). Improve your quality of life.
WEEK # 4 - How to achieve healthier living for life – Let’s go shopping!
- Test your newly acquired knowledge in every day scenarios. A trip to the supermarket will open your eyes! Then, pass the your learned skills to your family and friends.
